Education Networking Event

Scottish Mentoring Network are holding an Education Networking Event on 2nd September this year. This event is for staff who are running or are interested in running mentoring programmes in Education.

This is an excellent opportunity to network and share best practice. The agenda for the day is still to be confirmed as we want to tailor the event to the needs of our members, so if you are interested in attending and you have any suggestions of topics you would like us to cover please get in contact.

Agenda:

  • Scottish Mentoring Network Update
  • Juan Garcia: (Queen Margaret University) Will discuss a comparative analysis on how mentoring affects widening participation and non-widening participation students ( originally prepared for the The Quality Assurance Agency Conference event)
  • Dr Shona Macintosh: (Hub for Success) Will discuss Opportunities for Regional Collaboration in Higher education
  • Networking Lunch

The event is free to attend for members of SMN.  If you would like to attend or you would like more information please contact Amanda on 0141 559 5001 or email amanda@scottishmentoringnetwork.co.uk
