Peer Connections offers pastoral care / support and is available to all students, but is mainly focussed on new entrant students at Dundee University (undergraduate and postgraduate) at whatever their level of entry. The broad aims of Peer Connections are to enable students to get the information they need to find their way around and settle in, help them meet, mix with, learn from and to share information and experience with other students. Peer Connections facilitates the personal development of both the supported students and the student volunteers. Information on Services Provided: Peer Connections currently offer the following services in Dundee, Perth, Fife and Angus; Mentoring Volunteer Training; Team building and communication skills; Suicide awareness, alertness and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
