SMN: Scottish Parliament Invite

Scottish Mentoring Network’s Iain Forbes has been having discussions with the Scottish Parliament’s Outreach Services who are keen to hear from a cross section of organisations in Scotland. Iain told them about them about the fantastic work being done by SMN members in improving outcomes for a wide range of service users.
It has been agreed that we can invite representatives from SMN member organisations to the parliament to hear how the parliament operates and to find out how you can better engage with committees, calls for evidence and inquiries. This is an excellent opportunity for SMN members to learn how to have your voice heard and how we can collectively promote the effective use of mentoring in Scotland.
The sessions which will last no more than half a day will be organised for some time after 1st April 2017 and the good news is there is no cost to attend. If you are interested please email Iain@scottishmentoringnetwork.co.uk by 17th March 2017.
