News: European Mentoring Summit 2018

The third bi-annual European Mentoring Summit is scheduled to take place in Berlin from 14 to 17 March 2018 and Scottish Mentoring Network has been invited to deliver a presentation about our Project Quality Award at this exciting event.

The summit is being jointly hosted by Berlin Mentoring Network, a network of mentoring projects which have joined forces to jointly secure the quality and future of programmes, and the European Centre for Evidence-Based Mentoring.  The bi-annual summit is the Centre's core activity to build a community of practitioners and researchers and establish a sense of collaboration as this network can only flourish through the support and active contribution of people from different countries.

As with the previous summits in Barcelona and Leeuwarden, this summit will be dedicated to networking amongst the diverse mentoring community and will bring together more than 200 practitioners, academics and educational planners from Europe and the USA.

The European Mentoring Summit website has been created with more information on the summit and details of how to secure places at this event.

Practitioners and project coordinators are also invited to submit blog entries to the summit website.

Blog entries can include accounts of everyday experiences by mentors and mentees, short essays on a special event with regards to a mentoring relationship, articles, photos, etc. Contributions can also include descriptions of your organization and why you have chosen to dedicate your life (or parts of it) to mentoring.

Blog entries should be submitted to the organisation team: Sabrina Krümpelmann or Adina Stern.
