The Ripple Effect: Free Victim Awareness Training for Staff
27 Mar In January 2012, South West Scotland Community Justice Authority launched The Ripple Effect Toolkit, aimed at raising staff awareness of victims' issues. As part of the ongoing roll-out of the toolkit a series of free multi-agency Ripple Effect Victim Awareness Training Events have been organised which will be delivered in partnership by South West Scotland CJA and local Victim Support Scotland services.

22 Mar Aberlour Young Runaways Service is now running a mentoring service for young peopele aged 13 - 16 years who live in the Greater Glasgow area. The mentoring service will support young people who are at risk of running away from home and who would benefit from a reliable, consistent role model.

Youth: Youth work Funding Seminar
22 Mar YouthLink Scotland, in partnership with the Scottish Funders Forum, are in the process of organising a Funding Seminar for the youth work sector. The seminar will be an open drop-in event on the afternoon and evening of Thursday 28 March 2013 and will be held in the Royal Society of Edinburgh Conference Centre, George Street, Edinburgh. The event will be open from 12.30hrs to 19.30hrs.
