Amanda is the Training and Project Support Lead for Scottish Mentoring Network. Amanda leads on the implementation of our training and project support services, including supporting members working towards the Quality Award accreditation and those using our new project wrap-around service. Amanda also leads on delivering a programme of network events for members. This is a retitling of the Network Development and Support Officer role, in recognition of its evolution into training delivery and tailored project development support alongside network events.
She studied at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, and has a Degree in Health Promotion as well as completing an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care (Children and Young People).
Before taking up her role at SMN she worked at the Rock Trust for almost nine years. There Amanda developed the mentoring programme for the Rock Trust, which involved creating a training programme for the mentors, as well as matching and line managing the mentors. Amanda has also successfully completed the SMN Quality Award for the Rock Trust.
