Elaine is Equality and Diversity Manager at the Law Society of Scotland, and leads on the Society’s Career Development Mentoring scheme, one of a number of support services the Society offers. Elaine qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and has worked at the Society since 2001 in a variety of roles. In her current role she has an in depth knowledge of equality and diversity law, and manages a number of projects under the Society’s own Equality and Diversity strategy. Much of this focuses on career progression and equality of opportunity for specific groups.
Elaine is also holds an EMCC European Quality Award in in Coaching and Mentoring for Leaders, and is a qualified Prince 2 practitioner.
