Development Manager, ACOSVO

Phili has a 16 year background in the voluntary sector. She previously worked as a Fundraising Manager for a small Edinburgh based care charity and in a Third Sector Interface where she represented and advised voluntary and community groups. Phili supported organisations with ideas and income generation, project management and evaluation, events and communications. Previous to that, she worked many years in the private sector within client relationship management, marketing and research.

As Development Manager at ACOSVO* Phili leads the delivery of membership support services and benefits to offer a package of attractive offerings to support voluntary sector leaders throughout the various stages of their leadership journey. ACOSVO has a 750+ membership comprising CEOs, Senior Leaders, Chairs and Vice-Chairs. Support services include; Mentoring, First Year in Post and an Interim Executive Service as well as a Leadership Exchange Programme offering cross-sectoral peer exchange experiences encouraging shared learning, best practice and collaboration. Phili also manages Chairs Network Scotland, specifically supporting the needs, and championing the role, of voluntary sector Chairs and Vice-Chairs through tailored support services and an annual events programme. She continues to play an active part in Scotland’s Third Sector Governance Forum promoting widely the Scottish Governance Code focusing on improving governance and leadership throughout the sector.  Phili manages various new ACOSVO projects, provides 1:1 member support, stakeholder engagement and wider networking to continually develop collaborative relationships cross sector.
