Scottish Mentoring Network's Online National Event

We are very excited to announce that we are holding an Online National Event! This event will be held on Zoom from 10am - 1:10pm on Thursday 3rd of December 2020.

This half day event will bring together our members to hear from speaker Jim McCormick, author of "A good match: what works in child and youth mentoring" along with presentations from colleagues across the membership, breakout sessions and Q&A panel.  We are also delighted to announce that the Minister for Children and Young People, Ms Maree Todd MSP will also be speaking on the day.

Registration for this event is absolutely free and the registration process will enable you to choose your first and second choices for which breakout session you would like to attend. Breakout session choices are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. We will try and allocate all delegates to their first choice breakout session.

Book your tickets here!

THE BOOKING DEADLINE FOR THIS EVENT IS 5pm ON 27/11/2020

We would normally have a live National Event and Recognition Awards each year, but in order to keep everyone safe during the pandemic, we are instead going to hold an online event for our members.  We have taken the decision to postpone this year’s Recognition Awards until 2021-22. The main reason for this is that we wanted the Recognition Awards to held in front of a live audience. The primary reason for this is that we feel it would be difficult to transfer the celebratory spirit of the Awards to a virtual channel. The next Awards ceremony will celebrate ten years of the SMN Recognition Awards, so watch this space! We will be holding a retrospective of our Project of the Year winners from the previous Recognition Awards, so if you have won this award in the past then please get in touch with Katya to get involved!

If you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us: info@scottishmentoringnetwork.co.uk
