We accommodate young people between 12-18 in a secure, close support and semi-independent facility. We focus on a continuum of care for the young people. The young people accessing our service are likely to have a history of emotional and physical neglect. Some may have experienced physical and /or sexual abuse, exploitation and may have frequently placed themselves in danger by engaging in behaviours that place them or others at risk. In addition they will also often have attachment difficulties and will have generally experienced a number of moves in care.

We view a placement with us as a positive opportunity where the young person can begin to recognise and reach his / her full potential emotionally, socially, educationally and spiritually.

We employ over 130 staff in our organisation and staff use their knowledge of young people's needs to motivate and encourage them to participate and move forward with their care and education plans. We are interested in mentoring as a tool to support and develop young people and staff in our organisation.
