North West Glasgow Voluntary Sector Network, is a network made up of voluntary sector organisations that are based in and/or deliver services in the North West of Glasgow. We provide networking, support, information and training to our members. We also support and develop the connection between the voluntary sector, the CPP partners at a local level as well as connect with other significant networks including the Health and Social Care Partnership.
Our Vision - Imagining the Third Sector as it could be, North West Glasgow VSN will work with a vibrant network of organisations committed to supporting the creation of inclusive environments where people can improve their lives, and fulfil their aspirations.
Our Mission - Working collaboratively across the North West of Glasgow, North West Glasgow VSN will support the development of a healthy, sustainable, inclusive third sector, which works with all partners to develop our communities.
In response to needs expressed by our members created a pilot Mentor project, the purpose of the project is to keep the knowledge, skills and experience of our members and share these skills with other network members. There are currently 5 mentors, who have undertaken a training course and are now supporting other network colleagues on their identified goals. The project will be rigorously evaluated and should the results be positive and something the members want to continue with we will seek funding to continue it in the longer term.
