The scheme is designed, to ensure that engineering graduates are allocated specific periods and tasks in the appopriate department to develop their practical and theoretical engineering knowledge, understanding and competance. Also, to augment their engineering skills and knowledge through tutoring and mentoring provided by senior engineers. This will include management skills and an appreciation of the company's procedures and policies, E.g. Quality Assurance, finance, manufacturing, Sales and Engineering.
