The Peeblesshire Youth Trust

The Peeblesshire Youth Trust aims to empower our local community by providing a facility for support to young people and their families. We will develop confidence and resilience in our community by promoting participation and inclusion. At all times we will be helpful, approachable and non-judgemental.

We run 'Achieve Your Potential', an early intervention programme, which has been recognised by HMIE as 'best practice' under the Curriculum for Excellence. Our mentors form the backbone to our work. Without their commitment and involvement PYT could not be as successful as we are in helping children reach their full potential. Our mentors are all volunteers and are fully trained and supported in all the activities that they get involved in.
