University of Glasgow - Research Culture & Researcher Development

About

The University of Glasgow's PhD researchers, research staff, and academic staff - total around 5000 people. A range of mentoring projects are in full swing with more in planning/pilot. These support key points in the research career journey such as transition to academia, completion of the thesis, career development and progression at all levels, ED&I objectives, and support the gaining of specific targeted research objectives (publishing strategies, funding capture, and public engagement for example).

Different mentoring programme designs are used for each, creating a suite of bespoke mentoring projects, under a central Research Strategy.
