Volunteering Matters - The Inspire Project

The Inspire Project supports New Scots, refugees and asylum seekers in Dundee aged 16-30. We recognise the multiple barriers faced by New Scots to enter Employment, Education or Training. New Scots have goals and aspirations but may not always have the skillset, tools, guidance or local knowledge to turn these goals into a reality. Discrimination, language, low self-esteem, and lack of work experience are some of the challenges young asylum seekers, refugees and migrants are met with. The Inspire Project provides employability support, structured volunteering placements and mentoring opportunities.
