New Directors Required

As advised in the recent notification of the AGM being held at the Scottish Mentoring Network Conference on 6th November 2018 the board of SMN would like to appoint a few more directors from within our membership. There are currently 4 vacancies for Member Directors and we now invite applications for these positions. Please click here for a Role Descriptor outlining the main duties and responsibilities involved and a person specification.
If you are passionate about mentoring and want to help SMN to achieve its aims of influencing policy and practice to increase the scale, quality and impact of mentoring in Scotland, please consider joining the Board. Or if you have particular skills or experience that you can bring to the Board such as marketing, funding, finance or other business development skills, we would like to hear from you. Most of all we would want you to bring your commitment to the continued development of SMN. We normally have 4 or 5 Board meetings a year lasting a few hours each with most other issues being dealt with by telephone or email. Travel expenses will be re-imbursed. If you or your organisation is a General Member of Scottish Mentoring Network you are eligible to apply or perhaps you may feel one of your managers or trustees would be interested.
