SMN NEWS: Members Consultation Launched

The Coronavirus pandemic has presented complicated and difficult choices for many organisations, but we know that you can adapt to the circumstances and will bounce back from the complications which the lockdown has imposed on us all.  At Scottish Mentoring Network, we wish to reassure you that we are available for any support we can offer.  Whether you are looking for help transitioning your mentoring project to an online service delivery model, or for the chance to chat with us about wider support from across the voluntary sector, we are here!

As you can imagine we are not going to be running any events or training courses for the foreseeable future, partly due to the lockdown, but also because we have been planning to conduct a members consultation.  As a membership organisation, we are driven by what you the members want and need from our services.  In order to find out, we have compiled a survey which we would like you to complete.  Questions 1-21 are the key questions that we would like to find out the answer to, and if you have time we would really appreciate it if you could complete the remaining questions.  If you are unable to complete the survey at this time, please let us know and we can arrange a more suitable to send the survey to you again in the future.

In order for us to gather more detailed feedback, we would like to conduct some phone interviews. These will aim to delve a bit deeper into your views about what SMN’s different services can support you as mentoring co-ordinators or project managers.  We will be in touch via email to arrange a suitable time.

Please click here to take you to the survey

We would like to emphasise that if you are unable to participate in the consultation at this time, please do not worry as we understand that these are extremely complicated and challenging times.  If you feel that a colleague would be more appropriate to complete the survey or get involved in a focus group, please pass on this email to them.

Thank you in advance for your support with conducting this consultation
