NEWS: Unique development scheme aims to make Scotland a nation of ‘makers’

Makers across Scotland are set to reap the benefits as a unique programme of learning and business development begins.

The final Compass: Emerging Maker Residency for 2021 includes mentoring, practical business advice and access to upskilling designed to build resilience into the craft sector in response to demand from makers.

The final residency already started at Hospitalfield on Monday and graduates of this new programme are already seeing the benefits from a tailored package of support provided by Craft Scotland, the national development agency for craft.
