MEMBER NEWS: Aberlour to expand it's services in the Scottish Borders

Our members, Aberlour Childcare Trust are expanding their services in the Scottish Borders. Working in partnership with the Scottish Borders Housing Association and the local council, they will be expanding their Sustain project. It aims to work with families to prevent children from going into care. This service has also recieved support from The Robertson Trust.

The partners in this project have also confirmed that they will be investing in an eight bed residential service so that children with complicated needs can stay in the Borders. This facility will be built by the Scottish Borders Housing Association and Aberlour will run the service once the facility is completed. The new facility will include 4 beds for children with 4 units created for young people to learn independent living skills.
