SMN NEWS: Kaukab Stewart MSP will deliver the keynote speech at this year's National Event!

We have been working behind the scenes to bring you a jam packed National Event programme - so we are delighted to finally be able to announce that Kaukab Stewart MSP will be our keynote speaker! She will be addressing the delegates at the event, alongside a whole host of other speakers and activities.
Kaukab has already shown a real commitment to mentoring when she hosted our Parliamentary event in November last year.
Kaukab was first elected to Holyrood in 2021, representing the Glasgow Kelvin constituency. She was the first woman of colour to ever be elected to the Scottish Parliament.
Prior to public life, Kaukab worked as a teacher for three decades - during which time she was an active trade unionist, campaigning on workers' rights and numerous equalities issues.
Since being elected, Kaukab has served as the vice-convener of Holyrood's Children and Young People Committee and is now the convener of the Equalities, Human Rights, and Civil Justice Committee, continuing in her passion for education and equality.
This event sells out every year so do not delay and book your tickets now! Complete the form at the link below to secure your place today.
