SMN NEWS: Quality Award Now Available in England and Wales!

We are delighted to announce that with the recent amendement to our Articles of Association, we can now offer our Quality Award in Mentoring to organisation outside of Scotland.

The award aims to independently assess mentoring practice and certify that programmes are operating in a safe and effective manner.

Benefits from undertaking the Quality Award process include:

• Recognition for current good practice.
• An independent "health check" of current practice resulting in a development plan for the programme.
• Formal certification resulting in increased credibility for the programme with stakeholders and funding bodies.
• Increased confidence in the programme from referrers, potential mentors and mentee
