News: European Mentoring Summit 2018

The third bi-annual European Mentoring Summit is scheduled to take place in Berlin from 14 to 17 March 2018 and Scottish Mentoring Network has been invited to deliver a presentation about our Project Quality Award at this exciting event.   15 December

Third Force News has this month published a blog post detailing the experiences of a new intandem mentor who is volunteering with Quarriers to help a care experienced young person in Central Scotland.  13 December

Member News: More than 200 volunteers join intandem in its first year

In its first year, Scotland's mentoring programme to support some of our most vulnerable young people has recruited more than 200 volunteers, with over 60 live matches established. 12 December

Resource: How do you choose a mentor?

BBC Radio 3's 'The Verb' recently looked at mentoring and 'How do you choose a mentor?', focusing specifically on writing mentors.    The show focuses on how much difference a mentor can make, how a mentee writer can learn from their mentor and the type of language a mentor should use. 12 December
