Seek applications from local charities or not-for-profit organisations working with residents of urban areas (i.e. more than 10,000) classified in the latest government Indices of Multiple Deprivation as being in the most deprived 20%. Includes: youth clubs; training schemes to help people out of unemployment; drop in centres for the homeless. Applicants must clearly fit into one of the following categories: 13 March

Trefoil supports the interests of children and young people with special needs, including physical disability, caring obligations, other disadvantage or learning and psycho-social needs to foster their independence, confidence and assertiveness. They will in particular consider funding for: projects promoting education, health and social welfare; team building activities; recreation with an educational element; therapeutic activities not core funded by the statutory authorities; new development and start up project costs. challenge discrimination and supports people affected by it.

Scottish Mentoring Network recently held a Parliamentary Reception, bringing together member projects and MSPs to provide an opportunity to share stories of the mentoring activity that is taking place across Scotland. This event took place at the Scottish Parliament, in the Burns Room (Committee Room 1), from 6-8pm on the 26th of February 2019. 6 March
