The Royal Bank of Scotland’s Entrepreneur Accelerator is the UK’s largest free business accelerator network, providing attendees with mentoring, insight and bespoke coaching to entrepreneurs who want to grow their business. 10 October

Any group of volunteers can apply for Volunteering Matters Action Earth grants of between £50 -£250 to run environmental activities in Scotland’s green spaces. This includes enhancing local biodiversity by creating or improving community gardens, wildflower meadows, ponds, woodlands or urban greenspaces. 10 October

Sustainable Mentoring Network (STAMINA) is a group for mentoring scheme leads, co-ordinators, administrators and mentoring champions. 9 October

At Scottish Mentoring Network, we’re pleased to be supporting #ChallengePoverty Week 2019, as we feel that it is important to highlight where our members are working to overcome poverty. One such member is the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow, whose mentoring programme supports young people who are going through the stages of bereavement. The family support service also offers care, advice and support for adults, children and young people living with the impact of a life limiting or life shortening illness 8 October
