FUNDING: ASDA Foundation

The ASDA Foundation supports a range of good causes around the UK. It exists primarily to give support to existing projects being run by ASDA colleagues, although applications are open to all registered charities, community groups and individuals in the UK, as long as they have the support and involvement of local ASDA colleagues.   20 November

 

FUNDING: Foyle Foundation

The small grants scheme supports smaller UK charities with an annual turnover of less than £150,000 a year, especially those working at grass roots and local community level, in any field, across a wide range of activities.   20 November

 

FUNDING: Watkin Jones Community Fund

The Watkin Jones Community Fund offers grants of up to £1,000 to support projects aimed at promoting communities throughout the UK, especially those that enhance the physical environment and improve the quality of life for local people.   20 November

 

NEWS: Mentoring Scheme Supporting women into aquaculture

A total of £50,000 is being invested to help increase the number of women working in Scottish aquaculture. The funding will deliver a mentoring scheme to support women already working in the sector to develop their careers, and a website to promote aquaculture and job opportunities to women. 20 November

MEMBER NEWS: MCR Pathways seeking 40 new volunteer mentors in Peterhead

MCR Pathways has appealed for 40 new volunteer mentors to be an inspiring influence in the lives of young people in Peterhead. 20 November

Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice Event

Our members, the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow, are hosting an exhibition where children and young people tell the story of transition to their new hospice and reflect on their new sense of belonging. Join them in creating a collaborative piece of edible art! Tickets are available in the link below.  This is a free event, but please register via eventbrite.  11 November
