The goal of the seminar outlined in this manual from the Wisconsin Program for Scientific Teaching is to accelerate the process for academic staff of learning to be a mentor. The seminar provides mentors with an intellectual framework to guide them, an opportunity to experiment with various methods and a forum in which to solve mentoring dilemmas.
