This research, published in the Journal of Primary Prevention Vol.26 No.2, develops and validates a youth mentoring quality inventory. This can be administered to adolescents who have been asigned mentors in order to assess the quality of the relationship as it is forming and identify dyads (for example mother & daughter or father & son pairs) that may need additional support before those relationships fail.
