The International Standards for Mentoring Programmes in Employment

The ISMPE were launched at the beginning of 2003 after a two-year collaborative effort by leading practitioners, providers and academics in mentoring across the world. Three rounds of public consultation were carried out, in which people involved in mentoring management were asked to suggest areas for inclusion and comment on successive drafts. The Standards are now being piloted in several countries with a variety of public and private sector organisations.
