The Mental Health Foundation (MHF) is the UK's leading mental health research and development charity. Since 1949 we have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of people affected by mental health problems. MHF brings together teams that undertake research, influence policy, improve services, design and deliver training, and raise public awareness to tackle social injustice and the stigma and discrimination associated with mental health. We are the lead partner for a newly funded peer support project for mental health carers. MHF are the project manager and will oversee development (including training, systems etc), implementation and evaluation of the project. Our delivery partners are Action in Mind (Stirling) and Glasgow Association for Mental Health (Glasgow) where the staff for the project will be based from (one volunteer co-ordinator in each area).
