The Scottish Charity Awards 2017

The Scottish Charity Awards 2017, operated by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations, are now open for nominations. The awards give recognition to the Scottish charities that have made the most significant impact over the previous year.
This year there are eight award categories:
- Charity of the year
- Celebrating Communities
- Pioneering Project
- Cracking Campaign
- Charity Champion
- Demonstrating Digital
- Leading Light
- Terrific Trustee
Entries should focus on work carried out between 1 January 2016 and 31 March 2017 and the awards are open to all types of voluntary organisations, including registered charities, social enterprises and campaigning groups.
The closing date for entries is Thursday 6 April 2017 and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Edinburgh on Thursday 22 June. Further information and details of how to apply is available here.
