The YMCA in Aberdeen is a youth work charity that is committed to creating opportunities to empower children, young people, families and communities in body, mind and spirit.

Our Plusone programme provides early intervention to vulnerable young people aged between 8 and 14 years old through one to one mentoring that is youth work and activity based.

Our Plusone programme is involved in delivering one to one mentoring to young people in the Northfield area of Aberdeen. Through our partnering with two local primaries and Northfield Academy we seek to engage with children so to encourage them towards healthy life decisions as well as positively engaging with school.
