MEMBER NEWS: Free Training from the Rock Trust & Cyrenians on preventing youth homelessness

The Early Intervention Partnership (EIP) is a collaboration between Cyrenians, a charity that tackles the causes and consequences of homelessness and Rock Trust, Scotland’s youth-specific homelessness charity.  The partnership is running free training available to the public so individuals can attend out with their workplace. Groups are also welcome.

The training will be held on the 8th of June from 17:30-18:45, online.  Tickets can be found here.

Youth Homelessness Prevention Training - stop youth homelessness before it happens

About this event:

We are working to prevent youth homelessness . Our aim is to increase the knowledge and confidence of those who work with young people, in and out of school. We will support you to understand the warning signs and the early identification of those young people at risk of homelessness.

This session will answer the following questions:

- what is youth homelessness?

- what is the process for young people accessing homelessness accommodation in Edinburgh?

- what are the indicators and risk factors?

- who should you call/refer to BEFORE a young person becomes homeless?

We want to help you PREVENT a young person from becoming homeless.
