Awards 2012
The 2012 SMN Annual Recognition Awards took place as part of our National Event at St Paul's & St George's Church in Edinburgh on Wednesday 7th November 2012. The Awards were presented to winners by Jacqueline Thomas, Chair of SMN.
The coveted Project of the Year Award 2012 was presented to YMCA Scotland for its innovative Plusone Mentoring project.
Category Award Winners were:
- Business Project of the Year 2012 - HI-Arts Craft Development, Making Progress Mentoring Programme
- Early Intervention Project of the Year 2012 - Transforming Lives: Young Parents Progression Pathway, One Parent Families Scotland
- Education Project of the Year 2012 - QM Connect Peer Support Project, Queen Margaret University
- Mentoring for Children Project of the Year 2012 - Achive Your Potential, Peeblesshire Youth Trust
- Mentoring for Young People Project of the Year 2012 - Xplore Peer Mentoring
- Social Care & Justice Project of the Year 2012 - Routes Out of Prison, The Wise Group
- Widest Impact Project of the Year 2012 - Lochaber Hope
Most Promising New Project Certificates were awarded to:
